Construction and Engineering
Construction accounts for 5% of Kenya's GDP. Most building construction projects are for private-sector clients, and most civil engineering projects for government. Entry into the engineering profession is regulated by the Engineers Registration Board. The Institution of Engineers of Kenya and the Architectural Association of Kenya are professional bodies.
